Welcome to Blairgowrie Community Garden.

 

Thank you for visiting the website of the Blairgowrie Community Garden. 

We are an enthusiastic bunch of local residents brought together in 2018 by Anne van Veen and her vision to establish a garden that the local community can enjoy and benefit from.  We're all volunteers who came together to convert two unused council asphalt tennis courts into a community garden. 

We run fundraising events and have been generously supported by local businesses, community groups and individuals.  We've also benefitted from government grants, local and federal for which we are very grateful.  The garden is thriving and all produce from the garden is shared among members.  We have community garden beds - no private plots. 

We also now have several raised garden beds growing food exclusively for donation to local charities that support people in need.​​​​​​
